TUBELESS SETUP IN TRUJILLO – Professional tubeless conversion (MTB & Road)
At BikeLab Studio we perform technical wheel conversion to tubeless systems under controlled sealing and real working pressure protocol.
TUBELESS SETUP IN TRUJILLO
Our tubeless setup in Trujillo is engineered to optimize pressure, traction and structural stability for MTB and road cycling.
The tubeless system operates under a physical threshold defined by the Young–Laplace criterion:
Pᵢ > (2 · γ · cosθ) / r
If internal pressure exceeds the sealant's cohesion capacity at the critical pore radius, sealing integrity is compromised.
- Internal rim preparation
- Tubeless tape applied under calibrated tension
- Valves sealed and fixed for structural integrity
- Precise sealant dosing based on actual tire volume
- Proper bead seating and pressure verification
We use Stan's sealant because it meets measurable stability and rheological performance criteria under real pressure and temperature variation.
Real benefits
- Fewer punctures
- Greater pressure stability
- Improved traction at lower PSI
- Reduced rotational weight
If you are outside Trujillo, you can ship your wheel to us. The standard holds.

Frequently Asked Questions_
What does a full tubeless conversion include?
The full conversion includes tire and tube removal, interior rim cleaning, tubeless tape installation under calibrated tension with no bubbles or lifted edges, o-ring sealed tubeless valve, tubeless-ready tire mounting and Stans NoTubes or Muc-Off sealant injection at specified flow. Service available at BikeLab Studio, Trujillo.
Is my rim compatible with tubeless?
Most modern MTB rims are tubeless-ready or tubeless-compatible. If your rim lacks the TL-R profile, we assess conversion feasibility with heavier tape. Road rims require specific tire and rim compatibility. We perform a compatibility diagnosis before starting the service.
How often should sealant be replaced?
Sealant loses effectiveness between 3 and 6 months depending on temperature, humidity and use. In Trujillo's climate, with temperatures between 18°C and 25°C, the recommended cycle is every 4 months. Refills can be performed without dismounting the tire if the tubeless system is intact.
What are the real advantages of tubeless over a tube?
Over 80% puncture reduction in trail and XC use. Ability to run lower pressures (1.8–2.2 psi less) improving traction and natural tire damping. Lower rotational weight. In the event of a major puncture, an emergency tube can be installed without specialized tools.
